Maggie McCain grew up skiing and snowboarding in western Pennsylvania and is currently a coach for the Mammoth Mountain Junior Snowboard Team.
She coaches fundamental skills to young athletes with dreams of becoming professional snowboarders.
She comes to Altitude with a wealth of knowledge on the basic mechanics of snowboarding, both in and out of the park.
Maggie’s coaching is technical, clear, and progression-focused.

With 8 years of experience as a coach, a master’s degree, and several former careers, she sees herself as a guide to support snowboarders in their journeys both on and off the snow.
Maggie strives to inspire and empower athletes through her work ethic, her willingness to face fear, follow her dreams, and her creativity to find the best ways to communicate and find solutions.
Off the snow you can find Maggie at her local skatepark, working as a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Analyst, or traveling the world in search of new experiences, new cultures and new skateparks.
