Stephanie Wilkerson, snowboard coach

Stephanie Wilkerson is the founder of Altitude Attitude. She’s also a snowboard coach with extensive experience working with riders across skill levels, terrain types, and learning styles.

Her work centers on helping riders progress in a way that feels clear, manageable, and sustainable — not rushed or intimidating.

Stephanie combines technical coaching with a strong understanding of how confidence, fear, and decision-making affect performance on snow. So riders not only improve during a session, but also understand why—allowing progress to continue afterward.

How Stephanie Coaches

Stephanie coaches the whole rider.

That means paying attention to:

success

Snowboard technique and movement

Confidence

Confidence, hesitation, and fear

decision

Terrain awareness and decision-making

mission

Individual goals and learning preferences

Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all drills, she prioritizes helping riders understand what their body is doing, allowing them to make adjustments that are intuitive and effective for them.

Coaching is collaborative, not corrective.

Riders aren’t “fixed”. They’re guided.

Founder-Led by Design

Stephanie is the primary point of contact for all Altitude Attitude programs.

She personally communicates with clients, helps them choose the right program, and oversees every camp, tour, and coaching experience from start to finish.

For camps or trips that require additional support, Stephanie brings in experienced coaches intentionally based on terrain, focus, and group needs. Every coach is selected to align with the same progression-focused, supportive philosophy.

This structure ensures consistency, safety, and clarity for every rider.
